El Misteri de la Selva (The Mystery Play of La Selva)

A staging of the mystery of the Ascension of Our Lady Saint Mary. It dates from the 13th century. It is the oldest mystery play in Europe in a Romance language. It is performed in the Parish Church of Sant Andreu Apòstol and more than a hundred people take part. Declared a Heritage Festival of Catalonia by the Generalitat de Catalunya.
