Old-Style Grape Harvest Festival in Poboleda

Poboleda celebrates this festival, which marks the grape harvest as it used to be done in the old days, on the first Saturday of September. Going out to harvest the old way with carts and mules, the piada (the traditional treading of the grapes) and wine tasting are the main events of the festival, which aims to pay tribute to the beginnings of this wine tradition in the Priorat.
