A day around wine in the Alt Camp
The Alt Camp is vineyard country. That is why we suggest a special route through different towns in this region of the Costa Daurada, during which you can discover and taste the world of wine as a family, with cultural, gastronomic and fun activities designed for everyone.
We recommend starting the day with a breakfast among the vines in Masmolets, in Valls. There you will find a historic winery where they will show you their facilities and you can go for a carriage ride. As if that weren't enough, you can also enjoy a wine tasting and a grape-picker's breakfast. For the little ones, aged 3 to 14, there is the option of learning how to bottle wine and designing a personalised label.
Since you will already be in Valls, we also recommend delving into the history of the Old Quarter, with the help of Candela, an endearing character who will set you several riddles. Don't miss the clues of this urban game, because they will take you all the way up the bell tower!
In the afternoon, you can head to Nulles, where you will tour the village and its surroundings, full of vineyards, in a traditional horse-drawn cart. The visit will also take you to the Iberian site of Rabassats, from the 3rd century BC, or to the hamlet of Casafort, as well as the spectacular Nulles cooperative.
If you still have time and energy, you can finish the day with an escape room in Puigpelat. Through a collaborative family game, you will solve various puzzles and mysteries related to wine. The youngest can also interact with textures and materials designed especially for children.
Don't forget to take a look at the Games section, where there are plenty of fun family leisure ideas to make your day on the Costa Daurada even better.
