Treasures of the Baix Camp for families

The Baix Camp is a region full of treasures. That is why we suggest you discover a few of them in a single day that will let you visit Reus and Cambrils, two of the great tourist attractions of the Costa Daurada.

First, we recommend a visit with the little ones to the Gaudí Centre, located in the nerve centre of Reus. It is a museum space where families with children aged 4 to 12 can take a lively, interactive visit, during which you will learn about the most characteristic aspects of the work and life of the brilliant architect Antoni Gaudí in an entertaining and participatory way.

Next, you can continue the family plan in Cambrils, at the Parc Samà, which holds one of the best examples of 19th-century gardening, the second largest aviary in Spain and a plant maze that leads you to solve a treasure hunt. When you have finished, in the summer season you can take the tourist train to the centre of Cambrils, which you can then explore at a leisurely pace thanks to this means of transport. We recommend checking the timetable.

In the afternoon, we offer two options. The first, a digital treasure hunt, on your mobile phone, which will make you discover the most incredible adventures that have happened in Cambrils and will test whether you can find a hidden pirate treasure. Or the second, which will let you discover the secrets of the Port of Cambrils and, if you like, try water activities there through the Nàutic Parc. Bear in mind that, thanks to this wide, high-quality offering, Cambrils has been recognised as a Family Tourism Destination.

If none of these ideas quite convinces you, in the Games section you can find plenty of fun family leisure ideas to plan a perfect day on the Costa Daurada.
