On the ground floor, the coppersmith's workshop that once stood here has been recreated. It was the trade of his paternal grandfather and his father, and it is where Gaudí is believed to have discovered and developed an interest in plasticity and volumes. This mastery of form, acquired as a child, later helped him to design his works in his head before putting them on paper. The visit is always guided and includes an audiovisual presentation.
