Activities in the Muntanyes de la Costa Daurada
The municipality of Prades is part of the Muntanyes de la Costa Daurada, designated a family tourism destination, where you can do countless activities with nature as the star, whether you travel with family, as a couple or with a group of friends... And, as if that were not enough, the gastronomic offerings will delight even the most demanding palates!
A Trip Idea to discover the Muntanyes de Prades
If you are travelling with children, we suggest a Trip Idea to discover the heritage of the Muntanyes de Prades with the little ones. Start by visiting Prades, where we recommend a short hike to the Ermita de l'Abellera, about 2 kilometres from the town; continue to the uninhabited village of La Mussara and finish by touring towns such as Valls or Alcover, major destinations on the Costa Daurada.
Enjoy the natural surroundings of the village of Farena
A 25-minute drive from Prades you will find a charming little medieval village. We are talking about Farena, from where we suggest a hike to the Toll de l'Olla natural pool. In the summer months it tends to be quite busy, so if you are looking for quieter natural spaces, before reaching Farena you can stop at Capafonts, where you can take routes of great scenic charm around the River Brugent, visit the old bread oven or be a shepherd for a day.
