Live alongside the Catalan donkey
The Catalan donkey is a breed native to the area, and with this activity you can spend an hour with them, giving them their favourite treats, brushing them and getting to know their nature. You can also go for a walk, with an adult leading the donkey by the halter and learning how to communicate with the animal, while children under 10 ride on the xauma (traditional saddle).

Taste the wines of the DO Montsant
The Priorat region has an extraordinary winemaking tradition, in a unique land where Grenache and Carignan vines predominate. We suggest tasting the best DO Montsant wines at one of the many wineries operating in this area.
Walk a route through the Parc Natural del Montsant
If you love wildlife and walking, the Serra del Montsant is known for its biological diversity and great plant richness, thanks to a characteristic relief that makes it unique.
Visit the Cartoixa d'Scaladei
Founded in 1194 at the foot of the Serra del Montsant, Escaladei was the first Carthusian monastery on the Iberian Peninsula. Visiting it will take you back centuries, to when the monastery became the nerve centre of the Priorat.
