From Tarragona to the spectacular Castell de Tamarit
We recommend this hike along a coastal path that will take you from Platja del Miracle in Tarragona to Platja de Tamarit and its spectacular castle, dating from the 12th century.
You will see the old Savinosa sanatorium and the lovely Bosc de la Marquesa, as well as numerous idyllic coves and beaches. If you feel up to it, the hike can be extended as far as the mouth of the Gaià.
Discover the secrets of Altafulla's Vila Closa
In 1998 the Generalitat de Catalunya declared the old walled medieval centre of Altafulla a Cultural Asset of National Interest. This is the so-called Vila Closa, whose first mention dates from the second half of the 11th century.
We suggest taking a guided tour, lasting about an hour and a half, to discover all the secrets hidden in the little streets of Altafulla.
