Want to become a beekeeper and make your own candles?
In Alcover there is a farm with around 600 beehives where thousands of bees work every day to produce natural, handcrafted, extraordinary, high-quality honey.

Accompanied by beekeeper Joan Mª Llorens, you will have the chance to put on protective suits to see first-hand how the bees work and find out what their job in the apiary is or, if you prefer, make your own candles to take home.
If you have a sweet tooth, you can take part in a tasting of different varieties of honey to decide which one you like best, and learn about its properties and its best culinary pairings. During the activity, the little ones are also invited to join in various educational games related to the world of bees and the honey-making process.

Visit the Ermita del Remei, hike up to the Niu de l'Àliga or have a picnic at Mas de Forès (where there are swings and a play area). Mountain hike to Mont-ral and Farena
If you enjoy mountain hikes, we suggest a route that will take you to spectacular places such as the Ermita del Remei, Mont-ral and Farena, passing through the Serra dels Avencs and the Fonts del Glorieta, among others. If you prefer, you can also go by car. From the Museu d'Alcover it is 21 minutes to Mont-ral and 27 minutes to Farena.
